our vision

To Liberate Mankind in All Facets of Human Existence

Our vision is to liberate mankind in all facets of human existence, to restore broken destinies, and to bring healing to the sick and brokenhearted.

We envision a world where every individual is set free from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the word of faith.

Our vision encompasses liberation in every area of life—spiritual, physical, emotional, and material. Through the power of God's Word, we see destinies restored, lives transformed, and healing brought to those in need.

our mission

Our Divine Mandate to Liberate the World

Our mandate for ministry was received from the LORD Himself in an 18-hour vision. During this vision, a commission was received from the LORD to liberate mankind in all facets of human existence, to restore broken destinies, and to bring healing to the sick and brokenhearted.

This was the Divine mandate received from the LORD:

"The hour has come to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil through the preaching of the word of faith, and I am sending you to undertake this task."

Today, testimonies of liberation through our messages, books, tapes, magazines and other periodicals are most humbling. The word of faith is working like fire for the liberation of mankind across the nations.

our approach

Preaching the Word of Faith Across All Nations

We carry out our divine mandate through the systematic preaching and teaching of the word of faith, reaching people across all nations and continents.

Our approach to fulfilling this commission is multi-faceted. Through dynamic worship services, powerful teaching sessions, and comprehensive discipleship programs, we share the liberating message of faith. We also extend our reach through various media platforms including books, audio tapes, magazines, and digital publications that carry the word of faith to millions worldwide.

The word of faith continues to work like fire for the liberation of mankind, bringing transformation, healing, and restoration to countless lives across the globe. We remain committed to this divine assignment, trusting in the power of God's Word to set people free in every area of their existence.

How Living Faith Church Began

The Living Faith Church Worldwide (Winners' Chapel) was birthed out of an 18-hour long vision received by Bishop David Oyedepo in May 1981. In this divine encounter, he received a clear mandate to liberate the world from all oppressions of the devil, through the preaching of the word of faith.

What began as a small Bible study fellowship has grown into a global movement with thousands of churches spanning six continents. The ministry is founded on the unwavering belief in the integrity of God's Word and the covenant-keeping nature of God.

The scriptural foundation of the church is built on the understanding that "it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus." (Luke 1:3). This systematic approach to the Word of God has produced remarkable testimonies of transformation across the world.

About Winners' Chapel International Congo Town

About Winners Chapel Congo Town

WCI Congo Town serves as the National Headquarters of Living Faith Church (LFC) in Liberia, formally known as the Liberia Mission. From this center, we oversee and provide spiritual covering for 81 churches across the nation.

Within Monrovia, we operate six Midweek Centers located at Duport Road, Cement Hill, Gaye Town, Neezoe, Police Academy, and West Point. These centers are strategically positioned to ensure that the gospel reaches every corner of our community and remains accessible to all.

During the first week of every month, we observe our Spiritual Week of Emphasis from Wednesday through Friday, 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. This special time is dedicated to taking spiritual authority over the new month through intense prayer and the teaching of the Word.

Our regular weekly schedule includes Midweek Service every Wednesday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Sunday Services held in two sessions at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Additionally, we gather each morning, Monday through Saturday, from 6-7am for the Covenant Hour of Prayer, a time of prayer, devotion and spiritual empowerment.

The Believers’ Foundation Class takes place every Monday for all first-time attendees and new converts who have not yet participated. During this class, participants receive foundational teachings of the faith, experience the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues, and are awarded certificates upon completion.
